I am so very honored to serve as a W.I.S.H Society of Hattiesburg Honoree this year to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish foundation. It is my joy to be able to transform smiles daily, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to help bring smiles to these precious children’s faces by granting their wishes!
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight - giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
My hope is that we are able to grant as many wishes as possible right here in our local community to restore hope and joy during some of their most difficult and vulnerable days.
