Aurora’s “Marvel”ous Wish – “I wish to go on the set of Thunderbolts”
We invite you to join CSA in supporting Operation Dream Maker by participating in our CSA Wish Challenge from June 1 through June 30. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of our military and veteran children and their families, providing them with much-needed hope and positivity during difficult times. Your donations will go toward granting Aurora’s wish.
Meet 18-year-old Aurora from Silver Spring, Maryland. Though she battles a gastrointestinal disorder, her spirit remains relentlessly positive, inspiring everyone around her. Aurora’s first love is acting and singing. The stage is her sanctuary, a place where she can escape, throwing herself into her craft. Her recent performance as Clara in the Nutcracker, where she danced gracefully on pointe, is a testament to her dedication and talent.
Beyond the stage lights, Aurora holds a special place in her heart for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Shows such as Loki and WandaVision endlessly fascinate her, sparking her imagination with tales of extraordinary heroes. So, it is no surprise that her lifelong dream is to visit a movie set and witness the magic of filmmaking firsthand.
When the opportunity of being granted a wish with Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic presented itself, Aurora knew exactly what she wanted – She wished to go to the set of Thunderbolts, Marvel’s highly anticipated new film. This is a chance for Aurora to peek behind the curtain, experience first-hand the dream factory in motion, and even catch a glimpse of the heroes she so deeply admires. This experience will fuel her own journey towards her dreams of becoming a successful actress one day.
Help her wish take flight with your help to make a difference in the life of Aurora and her family by donating today.
