We are Professor Reb Beatty's Managerial Accounting class, and as a portion of our final exam, we have decided to delve into the realms of accounting principles, budgeting techniques, and strategic financial decision-making, all within the context of a charitable cause. We chose the Make-A-Wish foundation as a class because we all felt as though it was important to give back to our community which has given so much to us, and its relevance to our learning objectives matched with the impactful mission of Make-A-Wish led us to a unanimous decision to start this fundraiser. Professor Beatty has indicated that if we are able to raise $7,500 by Saturday May 4th, 2024, this project will serve as our final exam and we will receive full credit.
