SLHS Student Council is proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish!
Students will participate in charity events throughout the week that will work toward our goal of raising funds for Make-A-Wish kids!
Please read the directions on the slideshow carefully and hang on to your digital receipts from your donations.
IN-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES-
Donation of $10 per event OR $25 for all 3 events.
Students who purchase tickets will be excused from class. Please note: Students are still responsible for classwork missed!
Events:
Monday, 02/05 (1st hour): Yoga - Dance Studio
Wednesday, 02/07 (3rd hour): Michael Brody- Hypnotist- Lecture Hall
Thursday, 02/09 (5th hour- 6 hour ): Movie - Lecture Hall
SATURDAY DANCE-
Donation of $15/person to attend
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
