In the spirit of fostering kindness and spreading joy during the Respect for All Month, PS 6 is introducing a heartwarming initiative – a Wishing Wall to help children who need a little more help, through Make-A-Wish.
From February 12 to 16 teachers will be reading the book I Wish You More in classrooms. The readings will spark a discussion regarding what we wish for the people in our lives, friends, classmates, teachers, etc. If students would like to write a wish on a small piece of paper during their choice time, they can put it on the Wish Wall by the office at no cost.
The Wish Wall will serve as a symbol of respect, unity, empathy, and the creative way to spread kindness within our community, one wish at a time.
“My Wish for You…” “My Wish for Me…” “My Wish for the World”
These personalized stars will be proudly displayed on the Wish Wall, creating a visually stunning and inspirational tapestry of goodwill within the school.
We are so excited to spread kindness throughout the halls of school and come together through the power of positive intentions.
Stars will be sold at drop off and pick up, and also can be picked up from Lara in the main office
$2 for 1 Star
$5 for 3 Stars
$10 for 6 Stars
All donations over $100 will receive 20 stars.
Thank you for all of PS6 for bringing more kindness and wishes to our walls this February.
