Make-A-Wish Metro New York creates life-changing wishes for children in the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island who are battling critical illnesses. We seek to bring every eligible child’s wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness.
Since 1983, Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York have fulfilled the wishes of over 17,000 children. In Fiscal Year 2023, the chapter touched the lives of 840 wish children and their families by making their wishes come true!
