Every day, children and their families hear the devastating news that their child is diagnosed with a critical illness — every 20 minutes, in fact. Make-A-Wish is tackling this ever-growing issue: the trauma, hopelessness, and despair that wish kids and their families experience because of a critical illness. A wish brings hope, joy, and a caring community to kids when they need it most. A wish gives a child confidence and creates an opportunity for them to experience life beyond illness. We are proud wish granters, Circle of Hope annual gift pledgers, and Junior Board Members. Being involved allows us to see firsthand the power of a wish. We are devoted to making sure wishes can come true, both as donors and volunteers.
