As a Make-A-Wish volunteer, I have seen first-hand how kids, with health challenges and their families, experience memories of a lifetime with the help of others who want to help make Wish dreams come true for these children.
Research shows that a Wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight –giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
The majority of Wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and when a Wish is granted, a child is helped by replacing fear with confidence, anxiety with hope, and sadness with joy.
