I know this all to be very true because of my warrior Jose. When Jose was 8, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Getting these diagnosis changed all of our lives especially Jose's. Jose who was an active and energetic boy, now depends on the use of a wheelchair and his independence has forever been altered. In 2018 Jose had his wish granted to meet his idol Tom Brady. Since then Make-A-Wish MA & RI has become an instrumental component in Jose's perseverance, motivation, drive, and joy. Their involvement in our lives did not end at the completion of his wish, instead that was simply the beginning to an amazing journey.
