My daughter, Kaylee, had her wish in 2021 and it made such a difference in her life! Kaylee, at age 14, was diagnosed with colon cancer in May of 2020, in the midst of covid. Kaylee is still in active treatment today, but she is thriving. Her wish was to meet Lauren Daigle, one of her favorite singers! Due to covid, it was over zoom but turned out to be almost an hour-long zoom! Kaylee loves to sing and had just started trying song writing at this time. Lauren gave her advice and tips, that she still looks back on and follows. She has since entered several songwriting competitions, has sang at major sporting events as well as other events. Even after Kaylee's wish, Make A Wish continues to be a big part of her life! We can't say thank you enough to Make A Wish and we want to do our part to give back!
