I am participating on Operation Change again this year! My amazing gym, Iron Legion hosts a deadlift competition to raise money for Make-A-Wish Maine. This incredible organization grants wishes to kids with critical illnesses. Kids and families who are recipients of this wish-granting describe it as life-changing. 

I know first hand what it's like to be in caregiving and medical treatment mode with a loved one. It can be all-consuming. The moments of JOY can be few and far between at times. When my wife was going through treatment for breast cancer, we were able to make a Bucket List trip to The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to see one of our favorite bands play. This experience was such a joyous break from our medical treatment reality. It made our relationship stronger and made things easier to bear. I want to help grant wishes like this to kids and their families struggling through incredibly hard times.
