The Flower Loft is dedicating this fundraising event in honor of Kristine “Krissy” Murphy and her family.
Following her diagnosis at the age of 10, Krissy was granted a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which she happily accepted. She chose her Wish to be a visit to Disney World and their amusement parks with her family and one of her friends.
In a time of uncertainty, this Wish gave Krissy the opportunity to look outside her illness and restore a sense of normalcy back to Krissy and to her family.
Wishes can change the odds for children fighting their illness. A Wish can help kids look past their limitations, help families overcome anxiety and help entire communities experience joy. Most importantly, Wishes can improve a child’s quality of life, to experience the power of imagination and the strength that comes from that. At Make-A-Wish, life-changing wishes start with you.
