Welcome to my fundraising page! I am raising funds for Make-A-Wish in appreciation for my son Grant Johnson and his wish, while he was battling cancer.
Grant was diagnosed with brain & spinal cord cancer in 2004 and during the course of his treatments we learned he was eligible for Make-A-Wish. Grant received his wish, and in January of 2008 Grant and his sister, his mom and I were flown to London to meet Harry Potter on the set of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It was a fantastic week filled with exciting activities and opportunities for the entire family. It is a trip we still speak of often - and it could never have happened without the dedicated volunteers at Make-A-Wish. It was amazing from the moment we were picked up in our driveway to the moment we returned home.
Brave kids are now battling diseases that would terrify most adults. Will you give a few dollars to give them the best day in their shortened lives? You can help make a difference and give a child an experience that they and their families will never forget.
Just click on the link and follow the prompts. It's that simple. I'm asking you to consider a $100 donation to Make-A-Wish, but of course, we will take whatever you can spare. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, and for your consideration of support for this highly worthwhile organization.
