Yesterday, by pure coincidence, I came across the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I hadn’t planned to stumble upon it, but as I learned about their mission to grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses, something stirred deep within me. I couldn’t stop thinking about the hope, joy, and strength they bring to children and families during their toughest times.
Today, that spark turned into a decision: I’m taking action. As my 40th birthday approaches on April 4, 2025, I want to make it more than just a milestone. I want to make it a celebration of life, hope, and dreams—not just for myself, but for children who need it most.
My goal is ambitious but worth every effort: to raise $40,000 by my 40th birthday. This amount will go toward granting wishes that can uplift and inspire children battling life-threatening illnesses. Whether it’s meeting a hero, visiting a dream destination, or experiencing a day of pure joy, these wishes have the power to transform lives.
The timing feels serendipitous. Learning about Make-A-Wish by chance reminded me that sometimes the universe places opportunities in front of us when we least expect it. I’ve been fortunate to enjoy health, happiness, and countless memories in my life. Now, I want to pay it forward by helping children create memories that give them strength and hope for the future.
This fundraiser is my way of turning a personal milestone into something meaningful for others. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a step toward making wishes come true. Together, we can bring light into the lives of children who need it most. Let’s make this birthday celebration one that inspires and creates magic—not just for me, but for all of us.
Will you join me in making this dream a reality?
