Our family is raising money for Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. It's truly amazing what wishes can do... give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities. We love to hear the stories, see the pictures and videos of kids with smiles, knowing that they are stronger from their wish.
April 29th is World Wish Day, the day that 40 years ago a boy named Chris, who was battling leukemia, had his wish granted to be a police officer. Chris' wish to be was the founding wish for Make-A-Wish and today, we have granted 330,000 wishes across the United States and more than 5,200 here in Virginia. In celebration of 40 years, our family is committed to ask 40 people to give at least $40 over the next 40 days. Please help us on our journey to raise these much needed funds.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to work in a pickle factory, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their football team a new weightroom, and meet their favorite celebrity. Right now in Virginia, there are 280 children waiting for their wish and together we can transform lives one wish at a time.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. But for every wish granted, another eligible child is waiting for their wish to come true.
Together, we can grant more wishes. Please donate today.
Thank you for your support and follow us on our journey for the next 40 days!
