Hello! My name is Cassidy Whitlock and I am 13 years old. One day, my mom and dad took me to see a Make-A-Wish truck convoy, where I met Staci Hull for the first time. Staci was the event organizer of the Convoy and also a volunteer with Make-A-Wish. We started talking about Make-A-Wish and what they were all about, and we talked about my own health journey.

Because I struggle with medical issues, I realized I wanted to help grant wishes for kids that have critical illnesses. Staci talked to me about being a junior volunteer at the Convoy. I volunteered for the first time in August 2014, and have been doing so ever since. I am now the Junior Volunteer President. I want to help raise money to grant the wishes of children because they go through so much, as do their families. They need to be able to take a break away from the doctors and hospitals and take their minds off of what is happening. They need to be able to go have fun, have lots of laughs, spend time together, and make happy memories with their families.

 I invite you to join us for the Franklin County Truck Convoy and Show. This event will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Cumberland Valley Antique Showgrounds, located at 1501 Criders Church Road, Chambersburg PA from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This event is held rain or shine. Please bring your family and friends to enjoy the day's events and help us raise money that can be donated to Make-a-Wish to grant the wishes of children in Franklin County with a critical illness.
