NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Connecticut are once again partnering with Make-A-Wish Connecticut for their annual Miles for Smiles campaign starting Monday, March 6 and culminating on Friday, March 17, 2023.
The community can donate unused airline miles or make monetary donations online to help Make-A-Wish Connecticut grant wishes to local children with critical illnesses. For airline miles donations, visit milesforsmiles.wish.org.
Participating Airlines include United Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines and JetBlue. Whether it is 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000 miles or more, your donation will help make a travel wish come true.
"Spring and summer are our busiest times of year for travel wishes and we currently have over 150 kids waating for their wish trip," said Pam Keough, President & CEO, Make-A-Wish Connecticut. “We are in urgent need of your airline miles to send waiting children on their wish. By granting a wish, these kids receive so much more than a temporary escape. They gain a wellspring of strength to keep fighting for better days. If you have ever thought about wanting to support us – with either monetary donations or airline miles - the time is now."
