Homestead Hurricanes Swim-A-Thon 2024
Dear Friends and Family,
The Homestead Hurricanes Swim Team is hosting our annual Swim-A-Thon to support Make-A-Wish Colorado and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The Swim-A-Thon will be held on June 20, 2024. The Hurricanes community will be raising money in honor or Brielle, a 4-year-old who was diagnosed with leukemia and wishes to go to Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii. Together, we can make more wishes come true for local kids like Brielle!
A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. Wish alumni, parents and medical professionals all agree that a wish is a necessary part of the medical treatment journey, giving kids the strength to fight against and even overcome their critical illness. Wishes increase hope, strength, joy, confidence, self-esteem, quality of life and well-being.
When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child - and a community. But these life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without donors like you.
With our help, Make-A-Wish Colorado can deliver strength and hope to families across the state.
