Overland Wish Week 2023
Dear Friends and Family,
The students of Overland High School are raising money to support Make-A-Wish Colorado and their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Together, we can make more wishes come true! We will be hosting different fundraising events the week of February 13 - 17, 2023!
This year, we're raising money in honor of wish kid Liya, a 6-year-old from Aurora, CO. Her wish is to go to Hawaii. We are so excited to honor and celebrate her this year!
A wish from Make-A-Wish is powerful! A large majority of Make-A-Wish alumni, parents and medical providers overwhelmingly agree the wish experience was a necessary part of the medical treatment journey. Wishes give the child a better chance of recovering from their critical illness by increasing their hope, strength, joy, confidence, self-esteem and quality of life. No matter the circumstances, every child deserves a childhood.
Life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without the power of donors like you. Your support gives children much-needed hope for brighter days ahead.
