Vital Signs A Cappella
Vital Signs A Cappella is hosting our 10th annual Benefit Concert for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina this upcoming February! If you’re not familiar with The Make-A-Wish Foundation, it is an organization dedicated to spreading hope, strength, and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting their wish. At this concert, all of Elon’s a cappella groups as well as some visiting groups will come together to share their mutual gift and love for performing, all for the benefit of Make-A-Wish.
This event was started 10 years ago by a Vital Signs Alum and brother to wish kid and leukemia survivor, Bella. Bella is the full inspiration behind this event and the reason we continue to host it year after year. This event is so special to Vital Signs because it is such a rewarding way to continue to tell Bella’s victory story as well as support other wish kids in hopes of hearing their story some day too.
100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit Make-A-Wish Central and Western NC! The average cost of a child’s wish is about $6,000. Last year we exceeded our goal of $10,000. So this year, we’re setting a fundraising goal of $12,000, so that we may be able to help cover two whole wishes. In the past, this event has been so successful because of the help and support by our friends and family, so I would love to ask you to be a part of that.
