2019-20 Wish Your Way Arizona

Eat Dessert First Weekend 2020

Life is short . . . Make it Sweet. The 6th annual Eat Dessert First campaign (EDF) is a time to celebrate the sweetness of life with those you love, indulge your inner child, and take action on behalf of children with cancer.

EDF honors all children fighting cancer, and is inspired by the vivacious Dana Morgan or Tucson, AZ. Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 4, Dana experienced two relapses and dozens of hospitalizations before passing away at age 10 from complications of cancer treatment. When hospitalized for her 2nd relapse, Dana asked to celebrate being discharged by feasting at one of her favorite restaurants, with the added perk of being allowed to EAT DESSERT FIRST! This simple wish amid another frightening medical journey has inspired thousands of people nationwide to celebrate life and make a difference for those facing pediatric cancer.

It's truly amazing what wishes can do... give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities. This was true for Dana who receive her Make-A-Wish in 2010.

Together, we can grant more wishes and create cherished memories for children with cancer.

Thank you for your support!

Blessings,
Scott and Michelle Morgan (AKA: Dana’s parents)
