I'm raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. No matter the circumstances, every child deserves a childhood. Life-changing wishes wouldn't happen without the power of donors like you. Your support gives children much-needed hope for brighter days ahead.
For 40 years, Make-A-Wish has brought transformational wishes to more than 330,000 children and families. But we're not done yet.
Sloane is Ms. Roa's 9 year old niece and Mr. Roa's granddaughter. At 5, she suffered a pediatric stroke, and was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder, MoyaMoya. Long story short, she had brain surgery at 6 and is currently a 2nd grader at HLS. MoyaMoya is a degenerative brain disease with no cure. Sloane is a Make a Wish kid. Everything is on hold right now due to Covid, but she oscillates between wanting to meet the members of One Direction or go to Walt Disney World.
For the last two years, Doug and Stugo were gracious enough to allow my sister to share Sloane's story. Thank you all for supporting a cause that directly impacts our own Ridge community.
Thank you for your support!
