Dear Friends,
I'm raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. It's truly amazing what wishes can do. A wish renews hope, uplifts spirits, and encourages the belief in the impossible. As a Board Member for Make-A-Wish Arizona, I have witnessed these miracles firsthand.
Four-year-old Andrew has always adored animals, and following his cancer diagnosis, his love for furry friends became a key source of joy and comfort. When asked about his wish, he chose to be a zookeeper for the day at San Diego Zoo! “He gets excited whenever he sees animals on television, and he was absolutely beaming about the opportunity to meet them up close,” shared his family.
During his wish, Andrew loved having one-on-one encounters with giraffes, camels, and other zoo animals. “My son really liked interacting and feeding the animals,” they continued. “The VIP tour was the star of the trip.”
Your donation can help transform lives for future kids like Andrew.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness, and count on donors like us to help make their wishes come true.
