As many of you know, over the past couple of months I have had the amazing opportunity to work for Make-A-Wish Arizona. During this time, I have been able to see the transformative power of wishes and see real magic at work. These wishes bring hope, strength, and joy to children battling critical illnesses.
This summer, I’m inviting you to help brighten the lives of these courageous children by joining our campaign to grant 100 wishes in 100 days! Summer should be a time of joy, sunshine, and memories for children, but wish kids often miss out due to their illness.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
Summer, when Make-A-Wish Arizona’s demand to grant wishes is the highest, can also be when support for the mission slows down the most. With more than 600 wish kids waiting for their wishes to be granted this summer—your help is needed.
