Hi ya!
As you may know (because it's my entire personality), I am fortunate enough to be a staff member at Make-A-Wish Arizona! This has given me a front row seat to see some of the greatest acts of kindness, as well as the chance to see real magic at work.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
A wish can change everything for these children—giving them the strength and hope they need to persevere in their fight against critical illness.
Summer, when Make-A-Wish Arizona’s demand to grant wishes is the highest, can also be when support for the mission slows down the most. With more than 4,500 wish kids waiting for their wishes to be granted this summer—your help is needed.
Every day, 70+ children are diagnosed with a critical illness and count on donors like us to help make their wish come true.
