Learn more about our lemonade stand in this brief video:
Shay Connell was born with a rare heart defect: only half of a heart and no spleen. Life hasn't always been easy for Shay, but thanks to Make-A-Wish, she got to meet the cast of her favorite movie. This life-changing experience inspired Shay to give back to others.
In the summer of 2018, Shay teamed up with her friends Jack and Marissa to host their first lemonade stand. Since then, they have raised over $80,000 for Make-A-Wish through their annual lemonade stands, helping to grant life-changing wishes to children in need.
Shay understands firsthand the impact a wish can have: giving kids renewed energy and strength, bringing families closer, and uniting communities. It's been incredible to give back to the organization that supported Shay and to create opportunities for others just like her.
This year marks the 7th annual lemonade stand, and we need your help in raising $20,000. We would love your support in making more wishes come true.
Join us on July 17th from 2-6 pm at the corner of Center Street and Finch Way in Pullman. If you can't join us in person, please consider donating online. Every contribution brings us one step closer to granting more wishes for children in need.
Thank you for your support!
