Lizzie’s Wish was granted in 2015 and the experience remains one of our family’s most treasured memories. This is why I love this organization and why I want other families, living through the devastation of having a child with life threatening illnesses and conditions, to have their moment of joyful reprieve. The memories of a Wish bring strength and energy to take on the next battle. 

When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving.
