Our TK and kindergarten classes will be raising money for Make A Wish. We are going to be WISH HEROES! This is our chance to show kindness and give back to our community by helping fund a Wish to a child with a life threatening illness. What a great opportunity to teach our children about empathy and the importance of giving back to our community.
Beginning May 2nd - May 23
We will have a large container on the kindergarten playground before school. Each day kids will have an opportunity to bring coins (bills are welcome as well) to help fill up the bottle and raise money to grant a Wish!
Please share our page with friends and family because donations can also be made right here on our website page!
To learn more about Make A Wish and their mission to grant wishes to kids, visit www.ocie.wish.org. You can even ask Mrs. Anderson more about the organization. She has been a Wish granter for 8 years and has helped grant more than 50 Wishes for children in the Inland Empire.
Mrs. Anderson says, "Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to work in a pickle factory, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all the buttons in a tall building's elevator. There are kids in our community that need our help. Let's help bring joy to children in need."
