For a wish kid, there is nothing more exciting than hoping their biggest wish comes true. This year, our family is striving to raise funds for Make-A-Wish North Dakota for granting wished to kids who need it most.
Our family became involved with Make-A-Wish in 2017 when our son, Jaren, at nine years old, was diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic heart rhythm disorder and his doctor nominated him for a wish. Jaren's wish to see a Minnesota Vikings game at US Bank Stadium and meet his favorite player, Adam Thielen, was granted in 2018. His wish gave him the confidence and hope to face his condition head-on. It also gave our family time to have fun without having to worry about all the medical stuff. It has been six years since Jaren's wish was granted and he still talks about how amazing it was! Now we want to help other kids like Jaren to experience their wishes coming true!
Our family has set a goal of raising at least $1,000 during this year's Wish Hero Campaign. We invite you to join us in donating and become a "Wish Hero". Every donation, large or small, will help grant the wishes of North Dakota kids waiting for their wishes to come true!
