I started as a Volunteer with Make-A-Wish about 15 years ago. I love kids, which is what got me interested right away. Being able to surprise kids by granting them their wish and seeing the smiles on their faces gives you so much satisfaction, knowing you helped make a difference by putting some joy in their life, and the lives of their families. Myself, along with my family and friends, have had 4 Make-A-Wish Suppers and Auctions, and 3 Bike Runs to raise money to help grant wishes. The community and surrounding communities were so generous in making these fundraisers a success.
