Hi, I’m Cecilia Shaffette and I’m a Wish kid. I spent most of my childhood in and out of the hospital with biliary atresia and received a liver transplant that saved my life. After years of dreaming about traveling to Hawaii, my wish was granted in 2022. My family and I got the chance to experience amazing sights, beautiful landscapes, popular monuments, and so much more. I am so thankful for the opportunity.
I'm fundraising with Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses like me. It's truly amazing what wishes can do... give kids renewed energy and strength, bring families closer together and unite communities.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to have a bicycle, be a superhero, go snorkeling, give their school baseball team new uniforms and push all the buttons in a tall building's elevator.
