As a former wish family, we know the power of a wish. We witnessed first hand the strength, joy and hope that they bring along with so much more. Our daughter is passionate about the mission behind Make-A-Wish and is beyond excited to be raising funds to ensure that all children eligible for a wish are able to receive one.
Just before the age of 3, our daughter Alayah was diagnosed with Leukemia. At 3 1/2 she was granted her wish to be a princess at Disney and we were sent off on one amazing adventure. While on her wish, Alayah developed a love for the carousel at Give Kids the World and she rode it multiple times daily. It was perhaps the most magical part of her wish for her.
On it she was just a kid...not a kid fighting cancer...laughing at the simple joy it brought her. So what better way to raise money for wishes than by doing what she loved most on her own wish and ride a carousel.
On the weekend of April 23rd, Alayah will be riding the carousel at Destiny USA to raise money for local wishes. Her goal is to ride a cumulative 2 hours each day over the 3 days (mom and dad are insisting she takes breaks!). Destiny USA has joined us in our efforts and has gone above and beyond in partnering with Alayah to make her fundraiser better than we could have ever dreamed!

There are 3 ways to donate to Alayah's fundraiser:
- Make a donation right here on her Wish Hero site
- Make a pledge per ride for Alayah on the carousel. Just send an email to carouselrideathon@gmail.com with your pledge amount and once we have her total rides I will email you back with that total and the link again to this Wish Hero site for donation
- Come ride the carousel at Destiny USA anytime between 11am and 6pm April 23rd, 24th, and 25th and make a donation to Make-A-Wish; Destiny USA is amazingly donating all carousel proceeds from the weekend to Alayah's campaign for Make-A-Wish
