Maggie Bye (Hartland, WI) was just 15 when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. But she never let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She dreamt of being a fashion designer all her life. So when Make-A-Wish WI came to her about a wish she knew immediately that she wanted to meet fashion icon, Marc Jacobs. Having her wish granted in Oct 2006 transformed her life. Afterwards, she made it her goal to give back to MAW the cost of her wish. She reached her goal before she passed away in December of 2008. 

To keep her rich legacy alive, family & friends came together & founded Maggie's Angels, Inc. 501(c)3. Our mission is two fold: 1.) to help other children living with a serious illness & 2.) to give back to our community. To date we have sponsored 63 wishes. 

This year we are raising funds to grant Eva's Wish. Ava is a 17-year-old girl from Wauwatosa who is living with Hodgkin's lymphoma. She enjoys going for walks, biking, playing soccer, listening to "This American Life" and reading Jane Austen novels. Her wish is to have a custom-made dress by Christian Siriano!
