I am really proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work in our community. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
As a Make-A-Wish staff member, I see first hand, what it means to a child when they receive their wish. The excitement on their faces speaks to volumes to how impactful even the smallest wish can be. From gaming set-ups, to shopping sprees, to bouncy water houses, I have seen all different types of wishes! I can safely say that your donation is going towards a noble cause, and any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
