Anderson's Aloha Spirit
We are excited to "walk" and fundraise for this year’s Walk For Wishes. Together, we can raise money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like you and me. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
We have raised money for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma the last several years and this will be our second Walk for Wishes!! Our family is so excited to participate! We are walking as a Wish Family. Anderson’s wish to see a volcano in Hawaii was granted in February 2020. We’ve seen the incredible impact of granted wishes to children and families we personally know and we got to experience it for our family one year ago! It’s truly life-changing and we are passionate about helping this amazing organization.
Anderson was born in 2011 with a critical congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He’s had four open-heart surgeries, eight cardiac catheterizations, countless hospitalizations, and additional complications with his lungs. He will likely need a heart transplant in the future. He has overcome so much in his life. We are so happy to have the opportunity to walk in the Walk For Wishes with our brave, strong son!
