When Kyle learned of Make-A-Wish through his favorite YouTuber Sam Tabor, he felt compelled to do something to help.
As a family, we organized a big yard sale in October 2023 and raised over $1,000 for Make-A-Wish. It was a powerful experience as people donated items for us to sell, people gave us bags for the customers, people gave us tables to borrow, people made monetary donations from near and far, another family helped us sort, price, and run the sale, and then people participated by shopping! It truly was a community project made possible with the help of many people!
This year, we are trying to raise $500 for the annual Make-A-Wish walk in our local city, Louisville, KY.
