I am so proud to be able to support an organization like Make-a-Wish. These trips are such blessings and gifts to not only the wish children, but the siblings and parents too. When your world is shaken beyond belief with a diagnosis that’s out of your control, lightness of life is taken away. There’s a hard reality or appointments, treatments, medicines, blood work, scans. These trips and wishes give families time together, something to look forward to and just a moment in time where they can forget the realities they are facing day to day.
We were blessed with a trip to Disney in January 2024. It was the most amazing week for our entire family! I can’t even describe the emotions of the week. Every single planning detail was taken care of and paid for. It truly was a gift from above. My kiddos still talk about it. There are so many children and families that deserve this type of wish or trip. After Reed’s brain tumor diagnosis, surgery, treatment and all that follows, this was nothing but a heaven sent gift to our family.

Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
