Hey y'all! I am excited to walk and fundraise for this year's Walk For Wishes. Last year, Make-A-Wish provided Rachel and our family the opportunity to personally meet with Ayesha Curry in San Francisco. On our first day there, we were able to visit Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, and eat at a variety of different restaurants (we all know how Rachel is about food). On the second day, we met up with Ayesha at her restaurant prior to the restaurant opening. Ayesha had a little cooking station set up so that Rachel could help prepare a few items (Pork Ribs and Smoked Burrata)! Initially, we thought that the restaurant was the only event scheduled, but it turns out that Ayesha had also planned a picnic for us at the Conservatory of Flowers at the Golden Gate Park. Overall, it was an amazing experience that we will forever be grateful for. Thank you again to Make-A-Wish and Ayesha for the invaluable memories.
I am excited to walk and fundraise for this year's Walk For Wishes. I am committed to raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child's life, and so can we.
