I am really proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work in our community. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.

Our daughter Lucy is the inspiration for this wonderful team of friends and family who are coming together to support children just like her who are battling unthinkable illnesses. While Lucy is too young to be a wish recipient, we have seen firsthand what many other children are going through and love that we have a chance to brighten their days. Being in a hospital for months on end can wear any one down but having something to look forward to can help a child have hope.
