This walk is for our son Michael. Michael is battling Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, which is a type of Cancer. He had surgery in July of 2023 to remove the Cancerous lesion on his skull. Unfortunately, at the end of October 2023 he started feeling pain in his leg. Testing showed that the Cancer ate half of his femur bone. He started Chemo in January of this year. His Chemo treatments are monthly. Treatments are 5 days in a row each session. He currently is scheduled for a minimum of 14 treatments, he only has 5 left! He also has Pet-Scans every 2 months to monitor his body to make sure the Cancer isn't spreading. His care is currently being handled @ U of M Children's Hospital.
