As many of you know I've been working with Make-A-Wish since the end of 2021. Since being affiliated with this amazing organization, I've activity been working as a Wish Granter and a committee member of the Wish Walk. While upholding these two roles it has quickly become apparent that finding joy during such uncertain times can provide a movement of motivation on children and their families. Volunteering at Make-A-Wish has been the best decision I have ever made. The kids I work with have taught me the true meaning of bravery and for that, I am honored to work with them.
I am really proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work in our community. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
