Veronica’s Wish gave her hope. Can you help us give hope to other children?

Make-A-Wish granted Veronica a life changing wish of traveling to Florida for Valentine’s day, in order to spend a week at Disneyworld, Legoland, and Universal Studios! 

Veronica was diagnosed with heart failure at the age of six. As a child, anything to do with hospitals is scary enough, and staying in the ICU for over a year along with multiple surgeries is something no child should experience. Unfortunately, we can’t control every aspect of ours, or our child’s health. However, what we can control is hope. 

Veronica’s wish being granted flipped the outlook she had on her medical journey. The wish provided her hope, gave her an experience to remember for her entire life and most of all, provided a relief from illness. As the family of a Wish child, we can attest that seeing the joy on your child’s face when their wish is granted is truly a healing moment filled with love and gratitude for everyone who made it possible.
