Ashlyn's Armada
Walk With Us. Wish With Us.
Ashlyn was welcomed into the Make-A-Wish family in January 2024 and we want to help give back to this wonderful organization. While we are still early on in the wish exploration process, we know this is going to be such an amazing journey.
Ashlyn is a sassy, silly stroke survivor. She had a pediatric stroke in utero that led to a grade III IVH, months in the NICU, and two brain surgeries. Today, she pushes through cerebral palsy, epilepsy, cortical visual impairment and significant developmental delays. In the process of all this, we also discovered she has a genetic variant of KNL1. It's significance is unknown other than it causes primary microcephaly, contributing to her developmental complexities. Despite all this, she is learning to communicate as well as walk, in order to navigate this world. We are so proud of her drive!
We would love for you to all join us in our walk at the beach on May 3rd!

Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. Wish families are your friends, neighbors and relatives.
We are proud to support Make-A-Wish and their work in our community. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. When they smile, you’ll smile. See firsthand the power of pure joy when you grant a wish for a child battling a critical illness.
These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like us. A wish experience can truly change a child’s life, and so can we.
Will you help us support Make-A-Wish by donating today or joining our team today?
