At Walt Disney World, many of us get the opportunity to meet and interact with wish families from all around the world. In recent years, we have granted over 10,000 wishes a year in Walt Disney World alone.

Randi, a wish mom, said it best when she said, "The work that Make-A-Wish does, along with Disney, changed our lives significantly. It was truly magical.” Since 1980, Disney and Make-A-Wish have granted wishes for more than 150,000 children with critical illnesses worldwide. In fact, historically, one out of every two wishes granted in the U.S. has been a Disney wish.

This year, we are excited to walk and fundraise for the Orlando Walk For Wishes. Together, we can support Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of our local children with critical illnesses.

A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. It's the magic a child needs during a time when they need it the most.

These life-changing wishes are only possible because of the magic you make. A wish experience can truly change a child's life, and so can we.
