You made it and ever so grateful that you have! First, thanks to those who donated to the Make A Wish Trailblaze Challenge last year! You impacted a child's life in ways you can't imagine, good on you! We had a crew of six on Team ‘Wishing with Wine’, including the owner of Michael David Winery, Dave Phillips, a longtime friend in Jay Mair and three great RNDC friends, Tim Moore, James Clelland and Jonathon Floyd from Maui, what, Maui!! Thanks to all of you, our team raised over $31,000 and had a beautiful 28 mile, 9.5 hour hike along the amazing Pacific Crest Trial to raise money for San Diego Wish Kids! In total, this event raised over $500,000, that’s a lot of wishes granted!! This year, we're stepping it up and have a team goal of $25,000!

I'm still actively volunteering with the Make-A-Wish foundation in San Diego and it's very rewarding on so many levels. Wanting to do more, I find myself embarking on year two of the Trailblaze Challange, one of the greatest physical challenges in what has become our chapters largest fundraising event, taking place on May 21st! With support from great people like yourself, it's possible for Make-A Wish to continue granting life changing wishes to critically ill children.

Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know, and I continue to be amazed by them. They wish to meet a platypus, go glamping (Wish Kid Stella), take a Disney Cruise (Wish Kid Declan), have a backyard makeover, swim with the dolphins, design airplanes, play the guitar, their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.

This is such an amazing opportunity for us all to make a difference and greatly impact a child's life.
