I am excited to hike with Make-A-Wish and take on 28 miles in one day on the Pacific Crest Trail! In taking on the Trailblaze Challenge, I have committed myself to a physical challenge as well as raising the critical funds necessary to make wishes come true for the children faced with critical illnesses at my Pediatric Hospital in the San Diego area. Children who are battling childhood illnesses spend a lot of time in the hospital. Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of these children and their families by spreading joy, lasting memories, and hope. With your help, it’s possible to make some dreams come true!
Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
