I am once again taking on the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge - a physically challenging 28 miles of hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail in one day. I have also committed to help raise the funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to grant wishes for each eligible child with a critical illness.
Two years ago I got involved with the Make-A-Wish as a financial donor and last year I stepped it up as a donor/hiker. Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year but that’s only a fraction of the eligible kids. On average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness every hour of every day. Each of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
Many of you donated last year and your generosity has truly made a difference and is transforming lives.
Thank you for your consideration and support of Make-A-Wish!
