At the start of this year, I was thrilled to learn about Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Trailblaze Challenge. The challenge is to hike a 28-mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail in a single day as a way to fundraise for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Make-A-Wish foundation, it is a non-profit that helps grant “wishes” to children with critical illnesses. For children who are facing their toughest battles, the ability to have a “wish” come true can completely change the outlook a child has on their future and bring much needed joy during a difficult time. If you want to learn more about the work that Make-A-Wish does, I highly recommend you check out their website or go to YouTube to see what amazing work they have done!
Make-A-Wish grants more than 15 thousand wishes across the United States every year. Unfortunately, this only represents 50% of the children eligible. I’m driven to getting that number as close to 100% as possible so that every child facing critical illnesses has a chance to heal and grow stronger by having their wish come true. However, I cannot do this without your help!
Will you help me in my goal to grant a wish to every child suffering from critical illnesses?
