I'm back on the trail in 2020, hiking 28 miles in one day to raise money for wishes to come true for children facing critical illnesses. Your giving - even the smallest amount - is so meaningful for the Make-A-Wish children and their families who are walking an inconceivable journey. Please see below for a link to donate!
Wishes help so much in providing the child and family with happiness, hope, and relief from the daily challenges of living with fear, uncertainty, medical treatments, and hospital stays.
Last year, you helped me raise over $5,000 for wishes. The San Diego Trailblaze Challenge hikers had a $450,000 goal and collectively raised about $670,000, thanks to your big heart and generosity. Still, 1 out of 2 children on the Make-A-Wish list are waiting for funding for their wishes.
My hike this year is dedicated to 4-year-old Wish kid Aubrey, a magical superhero princess, who at age 3, inspired me with her spunky, brave little self, and "Hike, Hike, Hike!" chant that stuck with me through 28 miles. And to my beloved sister-in-law Lorrie, who fought a brave fight and earned her angel wings last month.
On behalf of the Make A Wish kiddos, thank you for caring and contributing to their cause!
