I am excited to take on the Make A Wish Trailblaze Challenge for the third year in a row! In addition to the physical challenge of trying to keep up with Bonnie, I have committed myself to raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. With your help, it’s possible.
Wish kids are some of the bravest kids you'll ever know, continuing to find the joy in everyday activities while battling critical illnesses. They wish to meet a hero of theirs such as an athlete, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their baseball team new uniforms, and sing a song with their favorite artist.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring. Bonnie and I have met many incredible people through the Trailblaze challenge over the last 2 years, all of which share the same passion of giving back and supporting each other so that everyone finishes the hike! Make A Wish is an organization Bonnie and I care deeply about and would be very appreciate of any amount you can donate towards our Trailblaze Challenge fundraising goal. As I would say to my daughter, skip your Bird Rock morning coffee run for a few days this week and instead donate $20 to an organization is making the world a little bit brighter for people.
